May 5 in Holland

Honored to be a Canadian on liberation day today in holland. It is the anniversary of the liberation of holland by mostly Canadian soldiers. My uncle told me that it is the reason my father came to Canada as he was so impressed with them as a young boy. We've also rented bikes for a few days not sure I will survive it! The kids are careful and almost everywhere there are completely separate roads for bikes it's the other cyclists and scooters that are scary though.
