Lets rent bikes!
Sounded like a great idea. The kids had a fantastic ride into town today. Anneke and I were nervous wrecks. There are bike lanes everywhere, but the bikes and cars and scooter drivers are nuts. And no helmets! Great day otherwise. Beer and a nap.
I remember driving in Amsterdam and I was terrified I was going to run over a bike or get slammed by a tram. Everyone has their own lane and traffic pattern and poor old tourists trying to drive just need some valium.
